A Green Beret Distinguished Honor Graduate, Tom Willis has served America all over the world, including tours in the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America.
Most recently, Tom was second in command of a U.S. Army Special Forces Battalion.
Tom joined the West Virginia National Guard in 2000 and continues to serve West Virginia in uniform on reserve status.
As a conservative and a veteran, you can count on Tom to ensure America has a strong defense – our men and women in the military represent the very best of us and they deserve our support. One of Tom's priorities is bringing a strong economy to West Virginia because economic prosperity is vital to our national security.
Tom Willis is the proud co-owner of the Glen Ferris Inn in Fayette County, West Virginia, a true historic state treasure located on the banks of the Kanawha River overlooking the Kanawha Waterfalls.
Tom is a straight shooter. His firsthand experience as an entrepreneur and businessman, and years spent fighting Washington's overreach against free enterprise, anchor his principals. In business and in politics, he's a conservative Republican who continues to fight for smaller government and more economic prosperity, he means what he says and says what he means.
Before starting his own business, Tom began as a clerk for a federal judge at the U.S. Tax Court and went on to work as a tax lawyer at Baker & McKenzie.
Tom Willis and his wife, Sara, are the proud parents of three children, Hunter, Penielle, and Tommy.
The Willis Family proudly calls Hedgesville home, where Tom sings in the choir at the Independent Bible Church. He also enjoys supporting the Boy Scouts as an Eagle Scout himself.
Tom is dedicated to helping our military families and serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Rick Herrema Foundation.
